Jet-Flo pH Decreaser/pH Down for Swimming Pools, 5kg/Pail (Dry Acid/Sodium Bisulfate - safer than muriatic acid)

DIRECTION FOR USE:
- Read the entire label and follow all precautionary statements and directions.
- Balance total alkalinity in pool water:
  ' 80'125 ppm for plaster finishes
  ' 125'150 ppm for vinyl, fiberglass, and other non-masonry finishes
- Maintain pool water pH between 7.2 and 7.6 for optimal chlorine performance. Use a reliable test kit to determine pH.
- If pH is above 7.6, add this product to pool water using the recommended chart as a guide.

HOW TO ADD DRY ACID (Sodium Bisulfate or Granular Cyanuric Acid):
- The procedure for adding granular acid is similar to adding calcium chloride or sodium bicarbonate.
- NEVER mix different types of dry chemicals together, especially acids and chlorines. Fumes can be toxic or lethal.
- Always add dry chemical to water, never water to dry chemical.

YOU WILL NEED:
- Reliable test kit
- 5-gallon plastic bucket
- Safety equipment (glasses and gloves)
- Stirring tool (e.g., wooden paint-stirring stick)
- Dry acid of choice
- Plastic measuring cup or scoop for dry chemicals

STEPS:
1. Test pool water and fill water for pH and alkalinity.
2. Fill bucket about 3/4 full with pool water. Slowly add the measured dry acid. Do not exceed 5 lbs per bucket.
3. Stir until completely dissolved.
4. Slowly pour the dissolved solution into the pool.
