EP Naturals Diatomaceous Earth Insecticide (DEsect)

Overview
DEsect is a fast-acting diatomaceous earth insecticide that kills insects by absorbing body fluids, causing dehydration, and damaging their bodies with sharp particles. Unlike chemical pesticides, it does not break down and is highly effective for commercial farming, households, lawns, gardens, crops, pets, livestock, and grain storage.

Applications
Household Use
- Controls roaches, silverfish, ants, fleas, and crickets
- Apply around cracks, crevices, under stoves, refrigerators, sinks, drains, window sills, doors, and other hiding places

Lawns & Gardens
- Apply 8'16 oz per 1000 sq. ft. twice or thrice a year
- Can be applied as dry dust or mixed with water
- For crops and gardens, apply 2 oz per quart (60 g/L) over plants, especially under leaves

Pets & Livestock
- Controls fleas, mites, ticks, and lice
- Apply monthly or as needed to animals' hair, ears, bedding, and sleeping areas

Crop Use
- Protect crops and orchards using manual or powered dusting applicators or solution applications
- Apply in a thin layer to fully cover plants

Grain Storage
- Controls insects in stored grain and animal feed such as rice weevils, granary weevils, Angoumois grain moths, Mediterranean flour moths, Indian meal moths, red flour beetles, and Tribolium
- Apply 1'7 pounds per ton, mixed throughout grain, or 4 pounds per 1000 sq. ft. as top/bottom dressing
- Safe for raw agricultural products including barley, buckwheat, corn, oats, rice, rye, sorghum, wheat, flax, peas, soybeans, peanuts, popcorn, and cocoa beans
