Ignition Control Module for Max-E-Therm

The Ignition Control Module (ICM) for Max-E-Therm is an electronic control component used in Pentair / Sta-Rite Max-E-Therm pool and spa heaters. It manages the heaters ignition sequence, ensuring the burner ignites safely and the flame is properly monitored during operation.

The module works with the heaters hot-surface ignition system and flame sensor, controlling when gas is released and confirming that the flame is present. If the system detects a fault (such as ignition failure or flame loss), the module shuts down the heater to maintain safe operation.
